Clouds
In my book True Notebook, there was a character that kept my eyes glued to the pages. His name was Ruben Berreda. Hes an immate who does the free writing classes that Duane teaches. He got up and read infront of everyone. His paper was called CLOUDS. He talks about a cloud and how its so simple in its normal state but so beutifulns that his ganglife blinded him from seeing natures buety from a simple cloud. He went on to say that he didnt care about anything not even himself so how could he even care for a cloud. He was saying that he looked at the writings of another gang and imediatly think of his own and nothing else, but now he feels as if he wasted lots of time with the stupidity and the non sence of his gang life. But you could really feel the change in him when your reading his letter, it made him sound more mature and more of a man. At the end of his letter he writes "at least i have come to the point where i can really look and stare at a cloud with graditude and not be distracted by stupidity or nonsence.
I honestly at first choose this book becuase it was all reading and no drawings, but now that im reading it its starting to sink in. Its good to read about a whole diffrent life style.
