A childs Epitaph
Michael R. Burch
I lived as best as i could, and then died.
be careful where you step: the grave is wide

Even though this is the shortest poem of them all i do not believe the size of the poem really matters just the words in it , and the second i read this poem i felt a powerful feeling of grief for the people suffering from the genecide. If someone was to just read this poem not knowing that it has something to do with the genecide it would not really give them much of an inspirational kick but knowing that it does relate to the genecides i understand what i believe it mean: she lived a good lyal life but was killed due to genecide then he warns everyone that the genecide is not a small problem its huge and people will die everyday till it is stopped so watch what you do because you want to be one of the lucky ones that survive through it. I relate tot this poem alot because I believe that if your going to live then why not actually live to the fullest, this poem does not just inspire people who relate it to genecide it is also an inspirational poem to live your life by if u defind it saying that you have to live your life to the fullest because people die everyday and you could be next, this was the first thing i thought when i read this poem because i hate sitting around in my boring town doing nothing i cant sit still for five minutes let alone sit around for years in this boring ass town that is why i want to go to college so i can actually do something with my life i would hate to live a boring buissness job and that is what i got from this quote/ poem.
