That is a very challenging topic to write about. I suppose I would write something along these lines;
Dear Sir or Madam,
If you are finding this letter it means that you are probably standing on a beach somewhere near civilization. I however am not. Dependant upon several things, I will have been on this island for days, months or even years. I do not feel that the world turely knew me so I will tell you about myself so that you, in turn, can tell my story and hopefully rescue me before I go to my eternal home. I was once an aspireing director, with hopes becoming the next Speilberg or Brooks with a touch of my own flavor. I loved comedy and will to my dieng day. I am a very liner thinker and take very practical approaches to solveing problems. I owe that to my chess playing. I want the world to know that despite all circumstances, God is still good, He is still Just, and He still loves me. I am unsure as to why He put me in this situation, but His will is not of my own. In closing, dearest reader, trust in Him, tell my story and keep these words with you always; "...when peace like a river atendeth my way, when sorrows like sea billows roll, what ever my lot Thou hast taught me to say, it is well, it is well with my soul"-Horatio G. Spafford
Sincerly yours,

Misunderstandings happen all the time in this world. They happen for a number of reasons but I believe the main reason is because we see things through our own eyes. We view the world the way we do because we are us. It is hard to step outside of ourselves to see something from someone else's point of view because we cannot feel exactly how they feel at any particular point in time because we are not them. In True Notebooks, several of the characters are misunderstood in some way or another. For example, Nathaniel Hall is a bright kid, he talks a tad too much but Mr. Jenkins thinks thats all he does. Misunderstandings happen largely because we think we know something but in actuality, we are just generalizing and we go off on that tangent...
