In this world there is one common thing that everyone goes through. Suffering. Whether it is a small inconvience or something very drastic. For me, suffering is experienced through physical pain. I have a disease called hereditary spastic paralysis. It affects how my muscles in my legs work. along with that is a side affect of arthritic tendancies. Long story short, whenever the weather changes or right before it rains, I can feel it and it does not feel good. This used to effect me in a negitive way. I used to be angry that I was in pain and that there wasn't really anything that I or anyone else could do about it. But then, a few years ago, I realized that I am not going through anything that I cannot handle. In fact, this has made me stronger. I have the ability to think a lot more critically than most. I am a very observant person because of the fact that I walk a little slower. Because of the hardships that I go through, I am who I am today. The characters in True Notebooks have had it rough and in some cases rougher than I have. Thier backrounds and who they were brought up to be led them to the decisions that landed them where they are now. But for some, they have not let that send them further down the negitive road. For some, they have taken the time to reevaluate their priorities and focus on life. For them, prison has been truely rehabilitating.

Inspiration is a rare and beautiful occurance. We spend our lives looking for it. When we find it, we make the most of it. When its gone, we long to have it again. In order to find it, we turn to several different sources. Some turn to their favorite music, others a book or movie, and others still will turn to an adult in their life that has truly had an inpact on them. As for me, I have several sources of inspiration. A wide range of things that I can honestly say have had an influence on me and my path in life. But none have been a greater influence on me than my mother and my Father. My mom has always been there for me and she raised me herself. She always encouraged me in my creativity and was one of the main influences for my school choice. She always taught me about comedy and it is because of her that I have a extensive knowladge of the three stooges, the marx brothers, and basically all I know about comedy. As for my Father, He has been there for me even more extensively than my mother has. He was even there for me when I didn't want Him to be. Its because of Him that I have the strength to continue, despite my trials and tribulations. Similarly, the characters in True Notebooks have a few adults that are their soruce of inspiration, Mark, Sister Janet are a few.
